Hello Bird Lovers,

Thank you so much for RSVPing to our Sunday Walk with the birds. As you know, with the stay-at-home order being extended we are not able to formally run a guided tour. So the walk will not be happening. That being said, the government is encouraging people to get outside for mental and physical wellbeing. We encourage you to go out for a walk this Sunday and to see the birds and blossoms for yourselves. Across the Yorklands, along every waterway birds are making the most of the hot weather. 

Our team will be out at the Yorklands all weekend raising awareness for this important centre of our cultural and natural heritage. Come say hi and learn about how you can help protect this important space from development. We have several walking routes that cover the site and connect it to the Eramosa River. We also have a virtual panel next wednesday (May 26th at 7pm), where we will be talking about the world of water conservation and the many policies that inform it. This is a must attend event for those interested in joining the crusade to protect these lands and waters from development.
