The 2Rivers Festival is an annual 2-month event in May and June intended to inspire a love of the Speed and Eramosa Rivers. We do not feel the need to protect what we don't know, but we will fiercely defend what we love.
Our rivers are so easy to fall in love with......
The 2Rivers Festival was intended as a way to connect people in Guelph with our rivers and to inspire in them a love for the preciousness of what we enjoy here. This event is run by a volunteer steering committee and we are currently seeking a few new individuals for our 2019 festival to help us keep our creativity high and to engage an even broader population to get to know and love our rivers and all the biodiversity they house.
The steering committee meets once a month to oversee logistics for this event that is designed to have none of us organize events, but rather to reach out to organizations already engaging with our rivers and profile the river connections they foster.
Please contact Stan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining this team and bringing your skills and talents and your love of our rivers to help us connect even more residents with the Speed and the Eramosa.
