Join Zhyfhs Millicent on a video plant walk along the Speed River. This is an informative herb walk where she'll talk about the medicinal uses of plants that grow near the river. You'll learn how to identify some local medicinal plants, which part(s) to use, ideal harvesting time, and how to use them. She'll also discuss the benefits of the plants, and in what scenarios they would be applicable. Zhyfhs will put little markers in by the plants, with the plant name and a number (#3 or #5) to mark the sequence of the stop, and will include a link to a map on her website. After the 'virtual plant walk' is posted online, you too could walk along the river to see the plants she talked about, as a self-guided plant walk - either listening to the video while you walk, or watching the video before or after your time in nature.
