Birding for Beginners

A gentle, family friendly walk to spot birds at this lovely heritage landmark site. Join us as an avid birder helps us with basic identification of birds at our beautiful parkland. Last year we noticed that this habitat is ideal for both country and urban birds who share this large site of wetland, meadows and ponds. Eastern Meadowlark, Baltimore Oriole and Bluebirds were among the sightings last year.  Meet at bus stop.

Note: no washrooms on site - this is our bit of country in the city. The York Road bus can be taken from city centre.
