Biodiversity Exploration

This event is back on!

Join us for a virtual tour at the Yorklands on the Blue Dot Trail plus three inspiring presentations on biological diversity there and planned for in the future. Bob Giza, president of Ontario Streams  will help us identify beneficial water insects in water at the Yorklands. Matthew Iles, wildlife biologist, nature mentor and conservation steward  will take us on a virtual birdwatching outing at the Yorklands. Kiki Danninger, master gardener and nature enthusiast will share her passion for wildflowers  as well as our Polli-Patches program that supports pollinators with habitat on your own property. And there will be a Q&A with a draw for photo note cards from the Yorklands for the winners.
