Learn all about owls with the Owl Foundation

Peter Thoem is Nature Guelph's June guest speaker. Peter will talk about Ontario’s owls and the work done by the Vineland-based Owl Foundation rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned owls. The Owl Foundation treats more than a hundred owls a year. Peter's presentation looks at the mishaps (mostly man-made) that befall owls, the treatment and care they receive at the Owl Foundation, the Foundation’s successes and some losses. Peter’s presentation will include many great photos of owls; both while receiving treatment and of owls in the wild.
